The world’s first 3D IOSONO® audio system, combined with their innovative MultiTouch Control DJ/Live Interface was installed in the trend-setting club, TRESOR Berlin around October last year. With more than 200 independent audio channels for Wave Field Synthesis rendering, combined with touch screen controlled real-time interface, live performers are able to move any sound, tone, voice or instrument freely over the dance floor and walk them across the room.

Instead of music blasting out of a few big speakers in the usual club setting, sounds in the IOSONO® system can appear to be coming from any point inside or outside of the listening space. This enables clubbers to experience 3-D immersive sounds in an infinite number of ways, for example, a performer can steer the sound of helicopter approaching from outside of the theatre and then have it circling around the listeners' head or have the roar of tiger at the back of the theatre or crickets jumping from the seating area.
